It is devastating when homes, businesses and communities are hit by natural disasters, but we are proud to call so many of our dealership family HEROES in the face of these adversities. On June 15, 2023, the town of Perryton in the Texas Panhandle was devastated by tornados. Sadly, several lives were lost, and at least 200 homes were destroyed. While the loss of life is unrecoverable, homes and businesses can be rebuilt but it will take many months or even years to complete. With many loyal customers from Perryton, Gene Messer Ford Amarillo has taken the recovery effort to heart and created a drop-off location for necessities for their friends and neighbors in Perryton. Gene Messer Ford Amarillo is collecting and delivering daily necessities like water and canned goods, as well as building supplies like plywood to help get homes back up as quickly as possible.
